After roaming around for a while I headed to Allen’s Country Kitchen. The restaurant has been open for only a month, but Dave, the owner, has had his own catering the past 10 years. Allen’s is all about home cooked food. Each day they feature a special such as meat loaf, baked steak and other comfort foods. Another plus to the restaurant is that they serve breakfast all day. I enjoyed the Breakfast Quesadillas which had incredible flavor but weren’t too heavy. Another breakfast favorite is the Belgium Waffles. The restaurant also has assorted muffins and cookies. This place is worth a visit or two or three. They are open seven days a week from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm.

The Breakfast Quesadilla. I had mine with ham, bacon and green peppers. Yum!
Long ago the location use to be a bank. They turned the vault into a smaller dining area.
